Build and repair a wide variety of tools, jigs, fixtures and dies
using tool room equipment and machines including mills, lathes,
grinders and other special machines and tools.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate problems and repair dies and fixtures
- Design and build jigs, fixtures and tooling per engineering drawings
- Make and improvise devices to convert standard machines to
perform special tasks
- Perform critical bench and assembly operations to fit, align,
calibrate, adjust, assemble and finish work
